An afternoon to guide young people and their parents to understand the future of work

What will be the future of work of young people today? What careers will they choose?

Only 17% of high-school students say that career choice is “exciting”, while 15% say they are “disconcerted” by the situation. (L’Etudiant)

78% of children consider their parents as their primary resource in making a career choice. (Dell, Institute for the Future)

During this afternoon, thecamp's experts will guide teen-parent duo or trios in a shared reflection around career choice:

DECODE
—> Decrypt the changes tied to digital technologies and new ways of learning and working, discover the skills of tomorrow

DISCOVER (YOURSELF)
—> Explore the skills used every day at thecamp such as code and prototyping, and learn to better understand your needs and talents

SHARE
—> Facilitate conversation between generations and understand the viewpoints of everyone in the family

This program was co-created by the Future(s) of Work exploration team and the Youth programs team at thecamp.
