From Inrocks, which called him a “cathartic [artist] full of poetry”, to France Inter, which describes him as a “musical UFO”, Hervé knows how to get people talking.
At only 26, Hervé is the latest musician to join the label Initial (Eddy de Pretto, Angèle, Columbine and Clara Luciani. His first EP is out now: Mélancolie FC, for Mélancolie Football Club.
In his EP, A fleur de peau, somber and tormented, Hervé shines beams of light on thousands of fragments of his soul, with introspective mantras and heavy refrains, often choosing rhythm over reason. Because for him, rhythm is also reason. Sounds themselves are words.
