Mathieu Simonet, lawyer and author (published by Éditions du Seuil) offers each month an encounter with a leading figure, mixing interview, photos and a reading game with the audience.
The guest this month is the young French singer Maissiat, awarded the Prix Barbara from the French Ministry of Culture in 2013 and currently with Wagram Music.
Who is she? Childhood photos show a little girl who never lets go of her microphone and plastic guitar. One day, a real piano enters the house. Maissiat starts to create her music, that which has taken form today…

How does the “reading game” work?
Over an hour, a guest unveils the key stages of his or her life and mission through a reading of five books that influenced him or her the most.
Each encounter will end with a participative reading where the public will be randomly grouped into duos, and one person reads the beginning of a novel to the other.
