Is it possible to play an active role in transmitting the world’s cultures and preserving oral traditions, while at the same time developing a commercially viable product? Myrà is a mobile application combining immersive illustrations, augmented text and original sounds, bringing to life tales from around the world. 

Myrà offers unique immersive narrative experiences in which the stories are enhanced with 360° illustrations and parallax effects, and reading is made easier through dynamic structuring and the use of augmented text to help parents read them to their children. Storyteller soundtracks have been added for those who prefer to listen to the stories.

Myrà is a perfect illustration of the bridges that can be built within thecamp itself. An initial version of the project emerged during the first edition of thecamp’s Hive collective residency under the name of Tale. A new team then came together to continue the development of Myrà. This creative project, with its potential for positive impact on our societies, was quickly selected to join the Le Village by CA Alpes Provence accelerator at thecamp.
