Ihab Mokayed, born in Aleppo, Syria, is a 25-year-old film director and producer. He directed and wrote his first short film at the age of 17, in Abu Dhabi, UAE, after winning a competition. It was at that moment he discovered his passion. His first feature documentary, “The Unexpected Refugee,” about his experience of becoming a refugee for the first time, has won multiple awards and was nominated at the Nice Film Festival in 2015. With 7 years of experience, he moved to Paris, France in 2017 to continue his career, with the goal of becoming a successful entrepreneur and having a positive impact on this world.
